Invincible: The 10 Lies You Learn Growing Up with Domestic Violence, and the Truths to Set You Free

Brian F. Martin is the founder of Children of Domestic Violence, a organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and supporting victims of such violence.  He recently published Invincible in which he strives to strengthen understanding on the complexity of this problem facing our country.  Calling it the “most pervasive human rights violation in the world,” UNICEF estimates that it affects upwards of a billion people worldwide. Martin’s work includes first-person accounts on their experience with domestic violence and the latest research on the subject to build awareness on the prevalence of this harmful issue. Invincible also provides tools for survivors on their road to recovery.
