The following guidelines must be met for grant consideration from the foundation:
Must be a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Program must be located in the United States.
Grants are only available to organizations with open, non-restrictive programs that operate open to all, regardless of race, creed, sex, sexual orientation, religious belief, or nationality.
The organization must demonstrate financial stability. All foundation grants will be for a finite period of time. Priority will be given to those requests that demonstrate ongoing financial stability when our grant concludes.
Grant applicant acknowledges that it has a written policy that addresses its commitment to keep women and children safe from abuse by preventing, recognizing and responding to situations that in any way compromise their safety.
When Georgia Smiled will give particular attention to programs that may have an especially meaningful impact upon their participants and have far reaching outcomes.
